Exposing list of recipients sent as Bcc: in Outlook ??

J

JR

I'm not familiar with Outlook since I use Outlook Express so bear with me..

A friend asked me if there is any way in Outlook to look at a 'sent' message
and determine who the recipients were in his message that he sent everyone
but the addressee as Bcc:

For example, if you send a message in Outlook Express to one person and
add several more names in the Bcc: option you can go back after sending
the message and click on the message, file, properties, Details and then
Message source to expose the list of addresses that were sent Bcc:

Is there any way to do this with Outlook?

A friend who uses Outlook asked me if I knew of any way to do this, which
I don't. Evidently he wants to see who he sent a specific message to..

Any help will be appreciated..

Thanks.

Hi - you have a reply in microsoft.public.outlook. Please don't multipost -
if you need to post to multiple groups, it's best to crosspost instead, by
posting a single message to a handful of relevant groups (separate the NG
names with commas) so that everyone can follow the thread. Thanks :)

In addition, note that posting your valid e-mail address in a newsgroup
post, or in your news account settings, is a surefire way to get spam and
SWEN and other viruses sent to you....see
http://www.mailmsg.com/SPAM_munging.htm for help in the future, but note
that now that your address is out there, there's not much you can do other
than changing your address.

As the author of the message, he should just be able to open it in his Sent
Items folder and view the list of BCC recipients in the header. He won't see
them in the preview/reading pane.
