I'm trying to export messages from my laptop (which uses Outlook Express) to
my desktop, which uses Outlook. I've exported the folders I want to use, but
have no idea where to find them to port them over to my desktop. It never
asked me for a location, and didn't give any indicate where if was going to
be filed. Can anyone help?

If you read the dialog box that appeared in the OE export function you would
have seen that the export function only exports to Outlook (installed on the
same machine) or Exchange.

You need to copy ALL the dbx files (including the one called folders.dbx) to
a folder on the other machine (NOT the default OE message store folder),
import into OE and then do export from there.

Okay, I think I got that. I'll give it a try. Thanks a lot! Rick
