Exporting Global Address List????

Does anyone know how to successfully export the Global
Address Book in Outlook 2k sp3? I need to be able to
export the global list and import it on another computer
which does not connect to the exchange server. Microsoft
suggests the following:

1. open the gal
2. right-click on the address you wish to export and
choose add to pab
3. create a personal folder and contacts under that
personal folder
4. import the pab into the contacts in the new personal
folder
5. export the new contacts to excel file
6. on the other computer, import the excel file into the
contacts folder

The above process exports the contacts. However, the email
address field only lists the Exchange server display name
instead of the internet mail address. If there was a way
to change the email type in the contacts, that would do
it, but I can't seem to find it. I can manually change the
address before exporting them to excel, but when I save
the contact, it's as if it checks the address against the
Exchange server and reverts back to the display name only.
How can this be done?

Oh, running Outlook 2k sp3 with Corporate/Workgroup
configuration. Need to import the GAL on another PC with
same version Outlook, but with Internet Only mail
configuration not connecting to the Exchange server. Hope
this explaination makes sense.

Thanks for any help.
