I'm having problems with my computer and I KNOW I have to reformat the
hard drive. I have 2 internal and 1 external HD. I have lots of
messages and my addressbook I'd like to back up to the other drives.
I know I can EXPORT the addressbook, but how can I export/backup/save
messages to another HD so that I can restore them when I reinstall
everything?

Please eMail me at (e-mail address removed)

Any help would be appreciated.

Outlook has no address book. All data is in one file.
Verify you are using Outlook and if so what version. The Address Book view
in Outlook provides no option to export.
The file you need to back up is your Personal Folders file (*.pst) It's
where all the mail, calendar, contacts etc are stored.

Take a look at these pages for info on Outlook data backup:
http://www.slipstick.com/config/backup.htm
http://www.howto-outlook.com/Howto/backupandrestore.htm

Thanks. I thought that's why the .pst file was so large, but I
couldn't be sure.
