Export to txt file

How do I export the results of a query as a comma delimited text file?
When I use export, it wants to export the query itself to another mdb
database.

suggest you use a macro with the OutputTo action.

Open Help and look up CreateTextFile Method.

Hi Rick,

You can just right-click on the query, choose export, and
change the file type to text, or Excel, or whatever file
type you want rather than the default Access mdb file
type (at least that's the way it works in 2000/2002, not
sure about older versions).
