Hello,

I get an error message, appologize i can't remember the error message it was
a big one, when I try to use "Analyze It with Microsoft Excel" tool to export
a simple report to excel. If I try to code it like so: DoCmd.OutputTo
acReport, "rptCustomerOrderStatus_OPs_z", "MicrosoftExcelBiff8(*.xls)",
"Order Status_w_OPs.xls", True, "", 0

I get the export/print status dialog box then it disappears and nothing
happens.

This has only happened twice. It didn't effect all the users on the terminal
server only a few, but its different users every time.

Thanks

Without knowing the error message one would be guessing!

Also, tell us what versions of Windows and Office you are using, and
whether this happens with just one report in one database, or with all
reports in that database, or with all databases, etc.

Microsoft Access 2002 (10.6771.6735) SP3. Microsoft Windows 2000 Server.
The office suite is run off the Terminal Server. I really sorry I can't
remember the error, but it was s big dialog box that took up much of the
screen. Does Access have a log file I can look through to find that error
message? This error message happens to all the reports. When the report is
open I click "tools" "office links" and the "analysis with MS Excel" and then
that error message pops up.

Thanks

Access doesn't keep a log file of this nature. But if the error
message happens to all the reports, surely all you have to do is to
run a report and write down the details of the error message.
