Export rtf as text from Journal

Hi All

Wondering if someone can help? I am trying to export information from the
journal to be used in another application. What I need is the rtf as text
including the rtf markup. I can export the information using ms access
however it only gives me the text, not the rtf markup. I think this is the
same for other export fomats as well.

Any ideas?

I have a lot of entries in the journal is there a way to automate this
process? This might be a more suitable question for the outlook development
group.

Yes, it could indeed be seen as a development question. Outlook items have a SaveAs method that allows you to save items as files. If you run into problems, there is a newsgroup specifically for general Outlook programming issues "down the hall" at microsoft.public.outlook.program_vba or, via web interface, at http://www.microsoft.com/office/community/en-us/default.mspx?dg=microsoft.public.outlook.program_vba
