Export PowerPoint Theme to Word

Is it possible to export a theme I have created in
PowerPoint as a theme that can be used in MS Word? Using
Office 2000 and want to maintain look and feel between
PowerPoint Slides and Word Documentation.
 
Templates in PowerPoint are very different than templates in Word. You can,
however, create a template in Word and use the same graphics, etc., that you
used in your PowerPoint template.

I guess you could copy and paste the graphic elements that make the design
in PowerPoint and then paste them as background in a Word document. Then
save it as a dot file.
