Export of nickname field?

When exporting contacts from Outlook 2000 to .csv file, the nickname field is
not exported. My questions:

1) Is this default behavior?
If so, is there a way to include it in the collection of fields to be
exported (by maybe replacing a field in that collection: eg spouse I don't
use, so if there is any limitation on the number of field, I would like to
swap a current field);
If this can't be altered (swapped or added to fields to be exported), why is
this? Doesn't make sense to me...

2) How can I transfer the info contained in Nickname to the Pager field - as
I don't use the Pager field, but it is included in the collection of fields
that will be exported.
I know it has to be done in VBA, but I don't know the correct syntax to copy
data from NN to Pager field in one go (2.400 records).

1) Yes. The only way to have different behavior is to write custom export code or use a custom export tool.

2) Write code to copy data from one field to another. See http://www.outlookcode.com/d/code/convertfields.htm for an example.
