EXPORT/IMPORT CONTACTS

Hi all...

I exported names out of a contact list into an excel
file on the desktop. When I went to import the exact
same file into the exact same location in which I
exported it from, i get a translation error.

The file "C:,,,,,," was not recognized. The MS Excel
translator was unable to recognize this file. It could
be the wrong file, a version of the file type which is
not supported by the translator, or the file may be
corrupt.

How can this be? I just exported it. Any thoughts?

Silly question I know but have you tried either exporting
it again? or exporting it as a different type of file to
see if that makes a difference?

Have not tried a different file type. Will try that.
Otherwise, i'm thinking i might have to reinstall
office. Everything works fine on my machine but the
clients machine errors everytime. I've tried it several
ways several times to no avail.
