Export access 97 report

I have created a report in access 97 (yes, unfortunately my company does not have the latest technology). The report has lines and rectangles that divide the data. When I try to export the report to save it as a word doc it loses the lines and rectangle formatting, only the text comes through. Is there any software or method to export the report so the formatting stays intact, lines and rectangles appear. Also, are there any software programs or updates that will allow me to save or export the file in other formats that those currently offered? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The only built in export format that retains graphical elements (in any
version of Access) is Snapshot Format. Otherwise you have to use a PDF
writer to create a PDF file from the report. Stephan Lebans has created a
free utility that takes the Snapshot output and embeds it in an RTF file.
While not as editable as a normal RTF file it is "more editable" than a
Snapshot or PDF and eliminates the need for a separate viewer program.
