Hi all,

I've created a customized toolbar for an access db, but I had to export all
the objects in a new file cause the db got currupted... and now I cannot find
how to import also the customized toolbar in the new file. Any idea?

many thanks,
Massimo

Hi, Max.

Open the database that needs the custom toolbar. Select the File menu ->
Get External Data -> Import... to open the Import dialog window. Navigate
to the directory where your corrupt database is (the one with the toolbar
that you need to import) and select the name of the database to open the
Import Objects dialog window. Select the "Options > >" button in the bottom
right corner of the dialog window to expand the dialog window.

Check the "Menus and Toolbars" check box and uncheck the "Relationships"
check box. Select the "OK" button to import all of the menu bars and
toolbars into the current database.

HTH.

Hi Gunny,

thanks a lot for your help, the toolbar is now in the new file.

This process didn't work for me... I'm trying to import all of the toolbars
and menus from the Law Track example and I can't seem to make that happen. I
can't even figure out how to modify the existing toolbars (you know, add and
remove menu options?.) What am I missing? I appreciate any help you could
provide...
