I am currently using Excel 2000 on a windows 2000 system.
I have a chart created with almost 10,000 plots on an X,Y
scatter chart. I have exponent numeric values for the X
axis on my data sheet. When I create the chart my exponent
values start at 0.00E+00 instead of -6.36E-07 where the
first values should start. The values end at 1.00E+04 and
should end at 1.36E-06. I've done this many times before
without issue, can anyone think what I may be doing wrong
this time?
TIA
George

Hi George
You can specify the start and end values by right clicking the axis, open
Format Axis, go to Scale tab and set Max and Min values to taste.
Best wishes

Are you sure you have a XY Scatter chart and did not accidentally create
a Line chart? 1E4 is the number of data points you have. ;-)
