I am getting an error message when i try to go to a secure
site using ie 6 in Windows XP eg to buy a product:

The page you are looking for is currently unavailable. The
Web site might be experiencing technical difficulties, or
you may need to adjust your browser settings.

I have followed all the suggested settings on this page to
no avail. Any suggestions?

You are posting from the Microsoft CDO instead of from a newsreader, so I
can't tell by looking, but if your time and date is set wrong, it will cause
problems with secure sites. Check it and set it if it's off, and try again.
