I have an internal removable disk drive (Iomega ZIP drive) installed. Each
time I put in a cartridge, XP displays a new window of Windows Explorer.
This happens even if Windows Explorer is already running.

Is there a way to stop this from occurring?

Thanks.

This comes from the Iomega program that is running in the background. I
believe it is called IOWatch or something similar. You can disable it
by going to Start>Run and typing (without quotes) "msconfig". Look on
the Startup tab for IOWatch and uncheck the box next to its name. Apply
and OK out. You don't need to restart immediately, but when you do
you'll get a dialog box saying you've used the System Configuration
Utility. Just check the box that says, "don't bother me about this
again".
