explorer startup

does anyone know how to customize so that explorer
launches at windows startup automatically? I tried the
option in Internet Options "dial a connection whenever
one is not present" and that does not work. If anyone
knows, I would appreciate the help.
 
Which Explorer are you referring to? Internet Explorer or Windows Explorer?
(I'm guessing you want the former.)

Add a shortcut to Internet Explorer to your Startup folder. You can do this
by:
- Clicking Start, and going to All Programs
- Hold down Ctrl, click on the "Internet Explorer" item, and drag the
shortcut to the Startup folder. Let go of the mouse button.
