explorer slow performance

I just reloaded xp as I had some corrupt files. Now all is
working well exept when I scroll down a page it is not as
fast as it used to be. It used to be imediate, now it
loads as if the computer was low on RAM. Any help would be
great.

When you say "reloaded", do you mean you did a clean install; i.e.,
formatted the hard drive first? Perhaps you have too many programs and
processes running in the background. Go to Start>Run and type
"msconfig" without the quotes. Look on the Startup tab and uncheck
unnecessary programs. Here are links to help you determine what should
