explorer quitting

Hi. I am having the same problem as you. I have tried
everything as well. I even tried to revert back to the IE
5.5 and it won't let me. Can you check your cpu usage and
see if it is spiking to 100% as mine is? I was told that
the version 6 is doing the same thing to everyone that
has it and they cannot revert either. I have not gotten
any response from Microsoft in regard to this problem yet.

I think I am having the same sort of problem but it only
seems to happen when I have a java applet window open then
it comes up with the general protection fault and shuts
down Explorer. This is really nerve racking has anyone got
any word on this?
