I am having problems getting online. I cannot successfully load any webpages
when I open Internet Explorer. I am a Comcast high speed internet
subscriber. My cable modem is working fine. Comcast was able to ping my
machine successfully. They have told me that the problem is with Windows or
antivirus software.
Last week, I did a Windows update and also updated my Norton antivirus. I
believe my problems getting on line started after the re-boot that activated
these updates.
I have disabled the firewall and antivirus programs. I have disconnected my
wireless router and have the computer hooked up directly to the modem.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
