explorer opens 67 browsers when deleted they come right back

when i go to internet explorer and double click to open it opens they web browser like normal but after a minute or two It starts to open a bunch of browsers infact 67 of them and all of them say web page can not be displayed except the one i was one before they started to open, if i try to close one it brings up another in it's place and if i try to close group it also all comes back, i cant go nowhere from ther i have to press my reset button on the tower.

HAS ANYONE EVER HERD OF THIS PROBLUM AND HOW DO I FIX IT

PLEASE WRITE ME WITH THE ANSWER I WILL GREATLY APPRECIATE IT AND TRY TO COMPANSATE YOU IF I CAN

Hi,

This generally happens for the most part, when IE is not set as your default
browser. To test: Tools/Internet Options/Programs/Reset Web Settings and
place a check in the lower box that reads: Internet Explorer should check
to see whether it is the default browser.

Sounds like spyware of some type. Try downloading Spybot.
