explorer not saving toolbar history or passwords

When I navigate through out the internet, Explorer will
not save passwords or history next time I launch
Explorer. Eventhough, toobar history is set for 20 days
and auto complete is enabled. Who can help me?

Delete the present files and index. It may be corrupt.
A new index will be generated.

Delete/Empty Temporary Internet Cache completely
