Explorer Hangs

When I go on to some sites, IE hangs. One of the sites
recommended update no. Q818506, but when I tried to
install the update, it told me that it needed "SP1." The
problem is that I have SP1, as confirmed by the "version"
line in the "About" window.

Any suggestions?

Your firewall or security software is blocking the download.
