Updated yesterday to latest updates for XP SP2. Now if I open an explorer on
a disk I am unable to copy any files from one directory to another. I can
copy using cmd or cygwin, just not through the click-copy-change dir-paste
route. Also when I delete a file to the recycle bin, if I select it and
attempt to restore, it doesn't work. Any ideas?

I can do a delete into the recycle bin, cut it there, then paste it into
another directory. I just can't do a copy->paste directly. Is there a
registry setting disabling this? An SP2 windows update was done yesterday.

Remove the updates or do a system restore to a date just before the recent
updates. Then do the updates on at a time to see which one is causing the
problem.

Working on that now. 16 down, 12 to go. No change so far. Also don't seem
to be able to do properties on any hardware.
