explorer.EXE runtime error 5 at hex address

I recently started receiving the following in a pop-up
error window. RUNTIME ERROR 5 AT 00EC7296
The hex code changes each time.
Any ideas?

I'm gettting the same runtime errors ive did a sys
restore and run all scans nothing has seem to fix it,
I waiting for a repaly to my post as well.
Ill let you know if i hear anything

If the code (and therefore kind of error) is changing but the address is
the same, then almost certainly that point in RAM is dead. Get
Memtest86 from www.memtest86.com and check it.
