Windows explorer doesn't start when I boot up. I don't get an error message,
it just hangs. I have to open task manager and start it manually. Is there a
fix for this?

I found the problem, I had a major malware infestation and Nod32 didn't
detect it. Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware fixed everything. So much for Nod32,
its uninstalled and deleted

Not every AV will find everything. I use 4 different on line AV's . One will find the culprit and one will not. Next time maybe Nod32 will find what the one you used now will not and so on

I'll be stronger than that. *No* anti-virus program will find
everything.

Besides, Michael is comparing an anti-virus program with one that
looks for broader types of malware. His conclusion that NOD32 is no
good is completely wrong. In fact, it's probably the *best* anti-virus
program available. But it's not anti-spyware software.

there were a total of 27 trojan and malware dll's that were in the System32
folder and Nod32 missed them all. They just piled up over a period of time.
I am lucky I still have a hard drive and a working XP. I dumped Nod32 and
trying out Symantec Endpoint

Nod32 is an antivirus program not antimalware. Malware bytes is an
antimalware program not an antivirus. Big difference.
