Explorer.exe error

I have a media centre 2004 machine and my explorer software has developed a
fault. When I try to delete a folder or rename it, I get the following
message:-

The instruction at "0x01d1415b" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The
memory could not read.

I have the latest updates and SP2, my nortion anti virus says I am clean and
I have Microsoft latest spyware, which again says I am clean

Can anyone help?

To repair all system files, go to Start/Run, and type: SFC /SCANNOW
