explorer.exe - Application Error

The instruction at "0x6370d286" referenced memory at 0x000000000. The memory could not be read.

Okay, my IE (v6 SP1) is working fine, I am able to browser and do all the wonderful things with it. However, If I try to open a .htm file in my windows explorer by doule clicking this is the error message that I see. Now matter how I open this file, I get the error message and when I cancel it to Debug it launches my MS C++ Debugger. What in the world is going on? I have seen this issue ever since I upgraded my machine to SP4 of Win2K Pro.

I have gone through all the exercises elaborated in the Newgroups of Spybots and the Parasites........ and after spending a lot of time trying to figure this out, I very strongly believe, it Win2K SP4 related problem. I have updates my systems with all the lastes and great HotFixes from Microsoft and I still see this.

Can some out there (preferably with Microsoft) help me resolve this, without pointing me to Non Microsoft URL! Please advice.
