Derek

I am running XP pro. I have 4 profiles set up. On 3 of
the 4 I cannot run IE or explorer or even empty the trash
can !! I have searched the KB, but nothing there seems
to apply to my situation. Ideas ?

Thanks
Derek

the internet explorer updates are the problem. or bugs
shall i say. my system the admin accounts crash quite
regularly with explorer being the fault. microfloppy has
no fix. just system restore back about 1 and a half months
and don't reinstall the internet explorer updates.hopefully
you have'nt lost your restore points.

I have since found that the problem exists
with "kernel32.dll" Outlook Express seems to work just
fine. What I don't understand is why this works in one
profile and not in the others. One other thing, when
searching for "kernel32.dll" I get two hits. One is in
c:\windows\system32 and the other in in
c:\windows\system32\dllcache. Could this have anything
to do with the problem ?
