Windows 7 Explorer does not open shtml fles

Hello,
When I ask Kompozer to brows/test a webpage under construction I get the message that navigation to that webpage was interrupted (I have selected IE for opening that kind of file). What to do? I saw a similar question from 2006, but the prescribed medicin seems not to work in W7.
Please help
