Explorer Crashing Kernel32.dll page fault

Hi:

I have Explorer 6.0.2800.1106IS. W98 SE 4.1.0.2222A

At unpredictable intervals (at least 4 times a day) I get a full crash error which says,
among other things: Explorer caused a page fault in KERNEL32.DLL. Almost every time I end
up having to reboot.

Can anyone advise on what to do to fix this "pain in the neck" problem?
