Explorer crash

Gert Lebbink

I have W2k with servicepack 4. When I try to play .MPG
files or even select .MPG files in Explorer I get the
error message: MPL loader: The DLL "cpuinf32.dll" cannot
be loaded. OS reports: Cannot find file. Then the same
message for the file "mplapx.dll" occurs. After that
explorer causes a GPF and closes.
I checked my other PC with W2k and there is no such DLL on
that system. This pc plays all videofiles well.
Please help me out.

Hello Gert,

Try the following steps...

1) Start --> Search --> For files and folders...
2) search for a file named LMPGAD.AX
3) rename all the occurances of this file to LMPGAD.AX_
4) reboot
