explorer closing when accessing shared folder

Folks -

Explorer is shutting down whan I try and access certain
shared folders. The error was automatically reported.
when I asked for more information the next window
indicated there was a "hot fix" for this but I cannot
seem to find it.

Any help would be appreciated

I cannot access any shared files or folders from one of the computers
on my network
Learn what to try if you can’t access shared resources from one of the
computers on your network.
