Explorer caused a stack fault in module!!!!

If anyone could please explain to me what this means.
Everytime I try to go to the recycle bin, settings, and
task bar. The illegal operations pop-up comes up
saying "explorer has caused a stack fault in module." If
anyone knows whats wrong or how I could fix it, they would
be a great help. i have ran my virus detector and none
have been detected. Please help!!!!!
