Explorer and IE running at LOW priority

Win 2k SP4 (all service packs applied). IE6
AMD XP 1800, 512mb, 80GB

Recently my Internet access started running slowly.
I discovered that explorer.exe, iexplore.exe and msdev.exe ...
.... were running at priority LOW reported by task manager.

Please can anyone tell me why this is happening ...
.... and how I can adjust the system to have them run NORMAL.

Regards.

Hi Brian,

Thanks for the posting. There is a possibility that priority can be set at
process level in Task manager. To do that open Task manager -> go to
process -> Right click the process (in your case iexplore) -> go to set
priority -> set it to Normal or which ever the mode you want.

I hope the above information will help you.

Thanks,
