Exploit Byte Verifiy

I was able to locate the Exploit Byte Verifiy files
picked up by McAfee, but it could not delete, clean or
quarantine them, I tried deleting them using the
explorer, but it didn't work until I rebooted then I
successfully deleted them.

But here is my question, when I located them through the
search with todays date I found loads of zip files under
the Java jar class, can these all be deleted if they not
potential virus files?

Thanks

Yes, although if there's a valid site you visit that runs a java app, it'll
take longer to load next time.

Okay thanks Doug, so similar to the Prefetch, you can
perform a clean up on these items, but heed warning to
specific pages as you said, slower load up, because they
will rebuild themselves.

I suspect that if you knew exactly which files came from which site, you
could be selective about deletions. But, I've used the broad sword a number
of times, and a java app required by one of my customers still runs
afterward. It may even be a good idea to load fresh files from time to time,
in case some programmer (in between Simpsons episodes) makes any changes to
the code.
