Hi

My friends PC is displaying a notice that the password has expired on a very
recent installation of Win2K Pro.

I'd be very grateful for any suggestions on what we can do to fix it.

A few weeks ago I fitted a new hard drive (after the original died) and
reinstalled the OS and all the apps.

I spent ages downloading all the windows, office and Norton updates over a
56k dialup (big yawn) and now my friend tells me she cant get in as the
password has expired!

Any ideas what we can do to fix this. I'd rather not have to spend another
afternoon reinstalling everything yet again!!!

Thanks

Ian

Is your friend logging on as a user ??, or as
Administrator. If a user, then you may be able to log on
as administrator and change the user's password to "Never
expire"
