In Outlook 2003 under "Tools", "Options", "Preferences
tab", "E-mail options" button, "Advanced E-mail Options"
button - 6th last option "Messages Expire After:" xxx
days (xxx being the number of days).

What is this option - it is new. I tried help, but there
is nothing under help for this option.

Not terribly thrilled with the new on-line help - slow.

Thanks.

I believe that this sets outgoing messages to "dissapear" from the
recipients inbox after the set parameter. I have heard about it but never
used it. Not sure what environment the recipient must have for this to
properly work. Perhaps a pro will elaborate or correct me?

That is correct but it doesn't vanish it will be show in "strikethrough"
font. I believe it works for all environments as long as the property can
stay with the message (works for sure in an Exchange environment)
