expanding the programs list.

In winxp Pro, When I go to start|programs the list has a double arrow at the
bottom to expand the list.

If I go to admin properties of the classic menu, I can uncheck the "scroll
the programs" and that is supposed to make columns, but doesn't work.

IS there some way of making it always be expanded?

In new xp start menu:
right click start button, properties, customize, advanced tab, uncheck:
scroll programs.

I saw you did it in the classic menu. I told you how to do it in the new xp
style start menu. Try in there also, set them both to not scroll. See if
that helps. Also make sure you turn use personalized menus in the classic
start button off(uncheck). And in IE internet options, advanced tab, for
favorites menu if needed.
