When I open Outlook and Mail view, my main mail folders are expanded, but my
imap folders are not. I have to click them open to see that tree. Can it

Thanks Brian. I'm using Internet Explorer to read the groups now, and I see
all of your replies. I need to find a better reader than Outlook Express.

It is with Outlook Express that I see all the messages. Are you using
Microsoft's NNTP server or your ISP's? If the latter, try using
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.outlook.general
