Exiting Outlook

Everytime I exit Microsoft Outlook 2007 I get a message saying "Microsoft
Outlook has stopped working". Why?

Probably because of an addin that doesn't terminate correctly on Outlook
shutdown.
Which ones do you have installed?
Disable them all and then enable them one by one to find the culprit.

I looked in the Addins & they are a lot. Is there any particular one that I
should check?

Antivirus could be one that would cause issues but so could itunes, acrobat
(for pdf) and others.

Thank you I removed them all & now I don't get this message
