Exisiting entry

When I'm typing in excel it's not filling in the remaining characters for me.
It seems to do it in the column underneath a word but will not do it when
I'm typing across the sheet. Help Please

this is just how AutoFill works. AFAIK no chance to change this

That's how Autocomplete works. From contiguous cell entries above the current
entry point.

No other configuration.

Hi
I figure out that you cannot skip a line or it won't work so I'm no longer
skipping lines. How do you get rid of a word on the dropdown list? All of my
cells are repeating except this one and I think it's because of the dropdown.

Not sure what you are asking.

If a word appears in the list it would because it resides somewhere in the
contiguous data above your current entry point.

To get rid of that word, delete it.
