I am new to windows mail and am having trouble attachment an exel spreadsheet
to an e-mail. The receiptiants report letters and characters not words or
numbers in the attachment. Am I doing something wrong or is there a setting
that I must make?? Thanks in advance

It would have been helpful if you had mentioned which version
of Excel. The 2007 version by default uses a newer format, which
is not understood by older versions. Either the recipient with the
older version will have to obtain the free patch from Microsoft,
or else you will need to save your spreadsheet using the more
compatible older format.
