Exclusive access to database

Hi

i have a database sitting on a network. If I try and open and change it, and
then save, i get a message saying thatI dont have exclusive access to
database and thus cannot save.

I am only one in the database, and have tried a compact and repair. if I
move the database to my local drive no propblems.

Any ideas anyone please?

Hi

Make sure that you have Read Write Modify Execute (rwmx) rights on that drive
This would normally be done by your network admin person.
