Hi ,


I have a old exchange 5.5 server and am getting seriously spammed and
relayed.If i go to internet mail service - queues and look in the outbound
messgaed queue , there is plenty mail and it has no originator , just < >
signs , how can I block this form of relaying or spam ?

have you setting anti-relay configuration on Internet Mail Connector ???
 
ok
open exchange administrator
go to Connections
double click on Internet Mail Service
click on the tab Routing
and click on Routing Restrictions

Click on
host and clients ehith these ip address

You must by insert local area network exemple
192.168.0.0 mask 255.255.255.0
bye
