Hi,
We got windows 2000 Active Directory environment in which we have one
exchange 5.5 server installed on windows 2000 server OS. I am trying to
install a second exchange 5.5 server on Windows 2000 OS. I logon to this
server using the exchange service domain account and start the setup
program. I select to join the existing site and it ask me to put the
existing exchange server on the domain. I put the exchange server name and
then it picks up the Site name and organisation name. After this comes up
with service account details dialog box with service account username and
ask me to put service account password. Then it comes up with an error
saying the account information is not correct. It won't let me browse for
the service account on the domain and it automatically puts the service
account username field which is greyed out. I have check the service account
password which correct and is not locked out.
Can anyone have some suggestion how to sort this problem out. The service
account which is greyed out is in the format "accountname@domain name. I
can't change this field to try another account.
Thanks
RR
