Excessive Log-In Time

I noticed this recently on a Windows XP SP 1 Machine, on
a Windows 2003 Domain.

From the time you hit enter on the log-in screen to the
time you get the annoying windows sound and a desktop is
excessivly long. To the tune of 10 minutes 49
seconds. No major system changes before i noticed the
problem. It just started hapening.

So I reformatted both the workstation and the server and
the same problem.

Any ideas? Again, this just started hapening out of the
blue.

Ensure that you have good DNS name resolution in your environment.
All Windows XP clients should point to an internal DNS server that is
authoritative for the domain.

If that is OK, then you might want to enable UserEnv logging
and take a network trace to see where the delay is:
