Excessive HD Space Usage!

G

geezer

When I start up WXP PRO (SP1), I find I am using some 44GB HD space.
After I let system sit idle for an hour or two, I find that the space
usage has grown to some 49GB!

5GB is a H of a lot of extra space usage, I have looked and looked,
but I cannot discover the cause of this space usage. If I didn't have
a 120GB HDD, it could be causing me problems.

What can I do to home in on the cause?

Thanks

Check your system for Malware. Use all these free sites. You could
also clean your hard drive. Rt click on Drive Icon
in MyComputer>select Properties>Disk Cleanup>More Options>System
Restore-Cleanup. Say Yes to All. Check the
size of your Hiberfile if you have Hibernation enabled.
