Susy,
I'm glad to see that I'm not the only intern that uses excel. I'm not
that certain about a Excel book that is specifically focus on finacial
statements, being a finance major most of my info comes from class. I would
try Barnsandnoble.com or Amazon.com to search for a book. You might want to
even look into finding an Economic Textbook to help. The book I use is called
"ACCOUNTING" by HORNGREN.

As for the Excel programming, I learned pretty much everything I know by
searching these forums as well as other. Google search Excel Forums and
you'll find quite a bit. If there is anything specific that you would like
help on, I would be more that happy to help anyway I can, just let me know.

Google the following phrase and you'll get at least 2 Financial modeling in
Excel manuals, one for Wiley publishing and another for the digitalguru:

I've purchased manuals from the former over the years and found them quite
useful, as for the latter, I've not had any direct experience with them so I
don't have anything to offer by way of a critique.

"Excel Financial Modeling Manuals"

Hope this helps
