Excel2000-File size is increasing without changes!!

This morning, my excel file was 1.5M.
Right now, it is at 32M.
Seems to increase every time I save.
What have I done?

Excel over-estimates the size of the "used range" quite often.

On one of your sheets hit CRTL + END to see where you end up. Could be far
below and to the right of where your actual data range is.
