Can anyone explain to me why the total of £72.31 is incorrect. The value
columns are linked by the simple formula i.e. L7 is =SUM(L5:L6). The
figures follow various inputs and L5 and L6 are automatically picked up from
other cells. All are formatted as "Accounting" to 2 decimal places.

(L5 is £10.21)

TIA

Ed

The cells may be formatted to show 2 decimal places, but the underlying
values may be something like 10.214 and 62.094 - when you add these you
will get 72.308 which will be displayed as 72.31. Better to use ROUND(
x ,2) on the first two cells.

Hope this helps.
